This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Hannes Jung (referred to as "Developer") handles the data of users ("User" or "you") of the Beans - Coffee Log mobile application ("App").

No Collection or Processing of Personal Data:

The App does not collect, process, transmit, or share any personal data within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Developer has no access to any data you enter into the App and does not operate any servers that receive your data. No analytics, tracking, or advertising technologies are used.

Local Storage and iCloud Sync:

The App utilizes Apple's SwiftData framework to store and retrieve data locally on your device. This data, such as the date, description, and type of your entries, is used solely within the App for the purpose of displaying your data.

To keep your data available across your devices, the App uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). Any data you create is synced to and stored within your own private iCloud account. This synchronization takes place entirely between your devices and Apple's iCloud service; the Developer has no access to your iCloud account or the data stored in it. The handling of data within iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Security:

Your data is stored locally on your device and, where iCloud sync is enabled, within your private iCloud account. It is not transferred to the Developer or any third party.

User Rights and Options:

Users have the right to delete all of their data at any time. This can be done within the App by manually deleting individual entries, by deleting the App from the device, or by removing the App's data from your iCloud account through your device's iCloud settings.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the use of the App and does not cover any other websites, services, or applications that may be linked or integrated within the App.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These terms and conditions, and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with the use of Beans - Coffee Log ("App"), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria.

Any legal disputes or claims arising from the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Austria. By using the App, you hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the Austrian courts for any such disputes.

In the event of a legal dispute, the parties involved agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiations. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent court in Austria.

The choice of Austrian law as the governing law for this App is made in consideration of the strong legal framework, data protection laws, and consumer rights regulations provided by the Austrian legal system.
